Pain Specialist

Roxanne Thygeson joined the team at Algone September of 2018. After graduating from East Anchorage High School, she attended University of Alaska Anchorage and Northland College in Minnesota. She received her certification in Peripheral Insertion Central Catheter, Certification of Sedation, and a certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Roxanne has been involved with pain medicine for 20 years. She enjoys working with the patients and alongside Algones dedicated providers and staff. She credits her parents for her strong work ethic and honesty and uses those skills to maximize her patient interaction. She appreciates the value of providing hands on care and participating in the plan of treatment that will improve the patients quality of life.

When Roxanne isn’t at the clinic, she appreciates spending time with her family first and foremost. She loves camping and fishing, and even caught her first King Salmon this year, weighing in at 52 ½ pounds!
