Helen Sharp, DNP, A-GNP, is a highly skilled nurse practitioner with extensive experience as a primary care provider specializing in the care of older adults. Before earning her advanced degrees, Helen worked for several years as a nurse in hospital settings, gaining invaluable hands-on experience that now informs her comprehensive approach to patient care. She brings a diverse and robust set of skills, knowledge, and expertise to her role at Algone Premier.

Born and raised in Texas, Helen completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and her first Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She later expanded her education in Florida, earning her second MSN and Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Outside of work, Helen and her husband enjoy the great outdoors with their beloved dogs. Together, they love hunting, fishing, and hiking. Helen is also an avid nature photographer, passionate about capturing the beauty of her surroundings. When she’s not outdoors, she enjoys reading, crafting intricate designs with polymer clay, and spending quality time with friends.
